Every day, we see Bears come to life in the arms of children, and we knew we had to share that magic with our fellow Vermonters. That’s why we created The Vermont Cub Project.
Through this special program, every four-year-old Vermonter is invited to Make a Friend for Life® — completely free of charge (up to $39.99) — at our Vermont Teddy Bear Design Studio in Shelburne.
The world can feel big when you're little — whether it’s braving a thunderstorm, learning to sleep in your own bed, or meeting new faces at the park. We want to give every child a cuddly companion to help them take on those moments with comfort and courage.
Come be a part of this heartwarming initiative — and help us spread hugs across the Green Mountain State.
HOW DO WE GET OUR NEW BEST FRIEND? IT'S EASY!
- Visit our Bear Shop with your four-year-old. Address: 6655 Shelburne Rd., Shelburne, VT
- Present your Vermont ID (must have your address on it)
- Provide the birthday for the child receiving the Bear. The child must be 4 years old when redeemed, or within one month of being 4 years old (3 years 11 months old or 5 years 1 month old are acceptable) and a parent or guardian must be present at the time of redemption.
- Bring your great imagination! We want this to be a fun experience for your entire family, so we do require your child to be present to make their new best friend.
